Custom FREE name shirts
A FREE shirt says it out loud: they're locked up, and they're still ours. Type the name, and we print it on a tee and ship it to you.
What goes on the shirt
- The top word. FREE, unless you change it. Up to 14 characters, so FREE MY or FREE DA fit too.
- The name. The one everybody calls them: Big Dre, Junior, Pooh, Mama. Up to 28 characters, sized to fit across the chest.
- A second line, if you want one: UNTIL HE COMES HOME, STAY STRONG, the year, a release date.
- A photo, if you want one. It prints between FREE and the name, in colour, black and white or a one-colour stencil, with the background removed if you tick the box.
- The lettering. Stencil, Old English, Marker or Block.
Stuck on the wording? There's a list of FREE shirt ideas, from FREE MY DAWG to HOME SOON.
You see the exact print first
The preview in the builder is made by the same code that makes the print file. What you see while you type is what gets printed, down to the letter spacing.
The shirt
- Bella+Canvas 3001, unisex fit, 100% combed ring-spun cotton.
- Printed direct-to-garment on the front.
- Black or white, S to 3XL. It runs true to size.
Price and shipping
$35 a shirt, shipping included, to the United States and Canada. Each shirt is printed to order and most arrive 5–8 business days after you order, with tracking by email. One order is one shirt in one size, so everyone in the family can pick their own.
Who orders them
Mothers, wives and girlfriends, brothers and sisters, kids, and the crew. People wear them to court dates, on birthdays and holidays when someone's missing from the table, at fundraisers for a lawyer, and on the day he comes home. More on that in support shirts for someone in jail or prison.
A dollar from every shirt
A dollar from every shirt goes to Amnesty International. The totals and receipts are on the Commissary page.
